Yes, it's working perfectly fine. Took a bit of effort but it was worth it. Sadly, 20 years of flourishing ecosystem is no more.

I was like “Surely OP has mislabelled the ‘after’ picture’.

    Nope. God damn.

Buy a bottle of 12% hydrogen peroxide, soak those plastic parts in a clear plastic box. Put it in the sun for an hour or two (check it in between) and the color will be back to normal.

I love TVS gold mechanical keyboards. It’s quite hard to find one nowadays, most of them cost over 4k INR which isn’t a fair price.

For those who don’t know: TVS is a mechanical keyboard brand in India, they have been in the market since the 90s and providing cherrymx switches at 800-1000 INR (10 USD). These are very rugged and are still used in most banks, public offices here in India.

Oh man, an Indian TVS keyboard! I love TVS bikes, but I’ve never seen a TVS keyboard before. Wow😮

Still loving the fact that it’s Cherry MX Blues on a keyboard of this vintage!

    Nice!

I still can’t find a copy of the ‘Model M’-clone we had back in the day.

Looks like that thing was in a lumber mill or a wood chip yard for a boiler house

  8. Oh my God why would you use such an old keyboard? You know, they are relatively inexpensive. Can get a good used one off eBay for like 10-20 €/$
