My only tip is to take it all in. Walking around the city, driving to my destinations, using fast travel as little as possible, made my playthrough so much more immersive, but it’s understandable if you don’t want to limit yourself in that way.

This wasnt in the game at launch. Glad it is now. Livens it up. Sometimes, there are even high speed chases between gangs.
Here are some character building tips:
– Dont raise an attribute to 20 unless you want at least one of its capstone perks.
– If you like and use the weapons under an attribute, raise that attribute to 15. You can always reassign perks within a tree anytime, but raising the attribute high enough to unlock the option to take those perks is non-negotiable.
– Stack perk trees for your favorite weapons. For example, the *Raiju* is an iconic tech smg. So, take the smg/assault tree (reflex) and tech weapons/bolts tree (tech) for maximum carnage. You can go a step further and grab the cyberware *Feedback Circuit* so that your tech weapon shots heal you. Basically, build your character around your favorite weapons.
– Not every perk in a tree for your favorite weapon is as useful as the rest. Spend your perk points judiciously. You dont get enough.
