Odd thing I noticed is that bo2 and BOCW are the only cod zombies game that introduced only new wonder weapons and not returning ones (other than the Raygun)

The Rai-K feels very similar to a reskinned mark 3. The Paralyzer is really a super buffed Jet Gun

One of the few things CW absolutely nailed was the wonder weapons, they’re all fun and powerful!

Of course, BO1 introduced new wonder weapons that WAW did not have.

That’s my biggest issue with BO6 zombies, we’ve gotten only 2 fully original wonder weapons across 5 maps
(5 if you consider the swords as separate but personally I don’t count variations as separate wonder weapons)

And every one shuts on cw zombies because it’s not BO3 like give it a break
UnofficialMipha
Because they don’t have any remakes or remasters
NikolaisVodka
Bo3 had the shadows of evil wonder weapon which was completely new.

Excluding remakes, I would argue that BO1 and BO4 should be in this list too.
On BO1 I thought that the gersh device was technically a wonder weapon.
BO4 is a bit more complicated. O would say that classified is too similar to five that it shouldn’t count, and that otherwise each map had a unique (ish) wonder weapon. Alpha Omega brought back the MKII, but added variants as well. Tag der toten had reimagined versions of the thunder gun and wunderwaffe too.
I guess it really depends on what you classify (no pun intended) the requirement for the list, but generally speaking OP is right. Pretty neat to think about.

Thanks for reminding me how much I miss the Chrysalax. I really did enjoy using that wonder weapon.

Technically speaking, bo3 only has 2 original ww. The maristagua and the raygun mk3. The bows are basically reskins of the staffs and the kt4 is a reskin of the sliquifier. Then rev just brings everything back, never thought about that

Crazy to think bo2 introduced like 10 WWs and in cold war we got like 7
