    System: G614PR Rog
    CPU- stock 8940hx
    GPU-stock 5070ti
    Ram-Ripjaw 38cl 32gb 5200 (Asus caps to 5200 even though board should be able to do 5600 🤔)
    SSD-dual booting: 2tb WD Blk sn850x NVMe (custom FSOS Windows 11 pro) for gaming + OEM 1tb NVMe (Stock Windows 11 pro) for everything else.

    All testing done with latest updates for every driver, latest FSOS windows 11 pro build.

    Power plan-default (it’s a custom one which comes with the stripped down FSOS Windows itself)

    Bios settings:
    SVM off, secure boot off, fast boot off
    Advanced settings section (use at your own risk):
    PBO advanced
    PBO OD manual
    PBO Scalar 7x
    CPU Boost Clock override: enabled set to positive

    Windows settings: memory integrity settings along with many others disabled. All critical defender services however (Real time protection) were still running during all tests.

    Ghelper is all that was used with no other programs running (except one last test where I used AMD Adrenaline for further CPU boost). FSOS is very stripped down, but plays xbox / battlenet / steam anything just fine online.

    Ghelper program edits:
    .json file edited to completely ignore windows power settings and not change the default (it will revert system to “balanced” if this isn’t done).

    Ghelper configs:
    Set to start as computer starts
    Fans-manual curve: basically maxed past 60c for CPU and maxed past 50c for GPU

    Undervolting -15 for Time Spy and Steel Nomad tests. For cinebench r23 and passmark tests I went with -20.

    Absolutely no undervolting on GPU (yet😅😅) but she is screaming for more. I don’t even hit 60c in most runs ❄️❄️ which for a laptop seems pretty epic

    Notes:
    -ambient temps 71f
    -highest CPU temp 82°c during all 50+ tests (85°c when trying -20 UV once) typically <70°c
    -highest GPU temp 59°c. Typically <50, and only 60°c+ if ambient temps are warmer than 70-72°f.
    -Extreme stability shown during tests, with flatline readings of near max allowed boost for CPU without slowing down even a flinch. With -20 UV I was hitting 5527mhz, but not the entire duration. (I’ll get it there eventually 🤣)

    While cooling seems pretty decent stock/OEM…I’ve been tuning gaming PCs for a total of roughly 3.5 days now 🤣 so I really can NOT say for sure, but i did go ahead and give some major boosts in that area just in case💪

    Using a Flydigi BS2 Pro is almost certainly how I was able to push so hard, while keeping everything within normal daily use values (for laptops). Used level 4 fan speed during all tests, absolute beast of a laptop cooler. I folded it’s guide it came with, to place slightly under the rear of my laptop as a lip for the exhaust fans to blow upwards away from intake underneath. Worked incredibly.

    Very happy with the results from this Asus Rog G16 2025 laptop, was $400 off during best buys “prime day” sales. All said and done, under $2k for this entire setup including cost of the upgraded 32gb RAM, the additional 2tb NVMe added, the BS2 Pro laptop cooling pad, and mechanical keyboard + gaming mouse (g305). Have to say I’m quite happy with the results…to think they were all from a laptop with a 320w or so wall charger, is pretty insane. Welcome to gaming in 2025 I guess!!! 🤣💪😅
