Mantis blades are underrated. They have a bit less DPS than katanas but also have much more mobility where you can chain attack a whole group of enemies easily.

I’ve been doing playthroughs focusing on the arm weapons, already did launcher, gorilla arms, and doing monowire now and I’ve had a lot of fun with them. Saving mantis blades for last but it looks fun.

This is the best playstyle for me. I tried playing with gorilla arms, bats, hammer, but eventually went back to mantis. Even when I play with a katana in the middle of a fight I just “ok you know what”, switch to claws and turn everything into mincemeat.

I’m a huge mantis blade enjoyed my fight with Oda felt literally like an anime sword fight with all the counters we threw the slow mo hits I’d make while he’s attacking and turn into a counter I clipped it and all cause it was so bad ass

The only bummer is the kill cam time with the mantis blades I hoped it was quicker like the swords was.
