Resistance, Killzone and Titanfall.

You could add so many more to make a list of game franchises that are effectively dead but worth remembering.

Keep them alive.

I will never forgive Sony for abandoning Killzone. I loved that franchise since the first game, it was so fucking good.

When gaming was great. Shame we’ll never get good franchises anymore.

  4. Coop campaign on resistance was so good. I was so excited to play resistance II with my brother and when I got it they didn’t have coop campaign

    Currently, God Eater.

Best Monster Hunter like, amazing ost, fun story, cool mechanics.

Sadly the studio, Shift, moved to Code Vein after God Eater 2 (God Eater 3 was made by another studio), and although Code Vein was canon to God Eater, Code Vein 2 isn’t and is unrelated to that universe. So currently the series has been dead for 8 years.

Frankly I want resistance and killzone just to be on PC where game preservation is easier. Also the fact that playing any FPS on controller is a mess of relearning how each game’s controls work and how fast the camera turns and accelerates.

Gears of fucking War. All three games are just complete masterpieces, and the fourth one isn’t bad, either.
