Street Fighter is certainly no stranger to all sorts of crossovers and collaborations, but their latest one may be the strangest yet.
Capcom recently released the aespa x Street Fighter 6 collaboration event, and now the K-Pop idols have released a message for fans.
The video features aespa members Karina, Winter, Giselle and Ningning sitting down to quickly discuss the odd fighting game crossover.
They mostly just recap all of the content that’s been added to Street Fighter 6, though, so there’s not much new to gleam from it — but it is still interesting they got the girls to sit down and talk about the collab even if it is a few weeks late.
Obviously, the biggest addition for the event is Juri’s aespa-inspired Outfit 4 DLC, which likely means that she won’t be receiving another costume anytime soon.
Capcom also added a new in-game commentator to SF6 by way of the artificial idol Naevis, who is connected to the K-Pop group.
The game’s Battle Hub has received an aespa makeover for a limited time as well.
Players can receive a few free aespa items by simply logging into the game during the event too.
This aespa event is scheduled to last until August 4 at 7:59 p.m. PT, which is just before Sagat releases alongside the first full batch of Outfit 4 DLC.
Juri’s Outfit 4 is said to only be available for one year, which is a bit odd even for a collaboration.
