I’m never sure if that’s supposed to be a threat or just a general warning. General warning makes sense, because pissing off a mega-corp tends to put a big target on your back, which tends to be terminal when you’re running solo in the city. It doesn’t make much sense as a threat, seeing as V shrugged off each attempt by the VDBs to toe off a loose end.
