Maybe he wasn’t “infected”
Idk because I never got to far into zombies but I see he hung him self so you know when your down in zombies they donāt attack you might be the same thing
Excavation Site 64’s miners spent weeks around 115 (digging, carrying, etc.) and were doing just fine. They became infected when the templars got to them. And “within a day they became like the others.”
The zombies never got to Peter. According to Die Rise, it actually took 115 ninety-four years to go airborne.
