Aurora and it’s not even close. At some Blast event this year (Bounty S1 I think), they made a massive comeback on the CT side, like winning 10 rounds in a row or something. Crazy to do on the most T-side favoring map.
I don’t get how Vertigo lasted that long and Anubis got canned after 2 years

I feel like all map changes hurt the Turkish core the most:
Back in Space soldiers days their best maps were Cache and Cobble, they both got removed.
Vertigo was Eternal Fire’s first pick and it got removed.
And now the map that got them on T1 gets removed.
Meanwhile people are still waiting for Cache and Cobble to return while Mirage, Inferno and Train stays even though most people wants them to change.

Any team who didn’t have Anubis as their perma ban will be affected, especially if they were actually good at the map
Falcons perma banned it, so they won’t sweat at all in cologne.
Vitality slightly more open to an upset against any early adopters of the map.
Aurora Anubis merchants so you’d assume they’d be affected pretty heavily, see how fast they can get up to speed with overpass again.

I think ppl focus too much on -anubis when we should focus more on +overpass. Beside Aurora who is anubis all year long, all other teams didn’t really focus much on anubis. Most top teams have them as their 4th/5th map pick choice only. Whereas Overpass is a popular older map and lots of teams are good at it.

I saw a video not to long ago if a guy making changes to that akin to the flipped door and mid building block on dust2… I thought that map was better

Both Aurora and me because I’ve been drilling and studying Anubis 22 hours a day for the last year, fueled by a strict diet of Mountain Dew, adderall, and cocoa leaves. I have achieved a complete mastery of it and transcended beyond what even the most skilled humans can do on the map. I was about to offer Aurora my services in exchange for ALL the money, but this update crushed my dreams. Thank Steam for robbing Aurora of countless titles, and for preventing everyone worldwide from witnessing the next step in human evolution.
I guess I’ll work on Mirage for the next year like I did with Anubis. Surely that couldn’t end up going wrong….
Maybe I’ll sleep for 23 days, eh, 26 days before I start. I think sleeping for only 30-60 minutes a night for a year made me a bit “off”. Colors look funny now, and foods are always a total surprise taste wise even if I have eaten something countless times prior. I also forget how to use words sometimes and confuse the sun/moon and day/night with I’ve another. Nothing too serious, just a few interesting and quirky effects…
