U could use the AK 47
now considering you’re content w legendary, you’re not grinding leaderboards and playing js to have fun, try shotguns. maybe snipers too. they’re the most fun to play with and can for the most part counter meta weapons with a lil practice. Try the krm or koshka imo
There are many more AR and SMG try out few of them in practice range.
Try these:
**AR Meta:** Xm4, Type 19, Oden, Bp50, ak117 (borderline non meta)
**AR off-meta:** LK24 (super fun) Kn-44 (just got buffed), Peacekeeper, Ak-47, grau, drh, asm10 (Branson barrel), EM2
**SMG:** VMP, Bizon, QQ10 (QQ9) Switchblade, LAPA. (Chicom is a super fun burst option)
**SR:** 3 Line rifle (loving this new SR) Tundra (nerfed), Locus, Outlaw, Koshka
**SG:** HS0, KRM, R9-0
**DMR:** SKS, Type 63
**LMG:** MG42, PKM, RPD
Honestly I’ll probably get hate for it, but I’ve been rocking a CBR4/Sniper overkill combo and I have been having a blast, I switch my snipers around a lot, so sometimes for shits and giggles I’ll use a marksman

If you played m16 before, try swordfish as your long range rifle. I’ve been using 4x scope swordfish for some time and I recently paired it with vmp through overkill so I’ve got a loadout that dominates all ranges
You have already got great mentions , now I have one too . Try the striker 45 . Use it in close to mid range only . It sucks in long range but absolutely shreds in close to mid range .
Gunsmith is Monolithic suppressor, 400 mm steel barrel , owc laser tactical,45 rounds mag , ftac polymer grip .
Or you can try Little B’s build (Search Little B codm Strikes 45 gunsmith in YouTube) .
Secondly – I would recommend the Lag53 . I was a Uss9 main before I got bored of it and picked up the Lag53 . It’s a fun gun to use , but slightly difficult. For gunsmith – I would say just use the default system legendary lobbies build , but replace the stock with red dot
