Rehabilitated Cyberpsychos becoming an specialized forced feared by everyone as the apex predators of a city where everyone is armed to the teeth?
Even the description screams aura.
MAXTAC recruits rehabilitated cyberpsychos with previous law enforcement and military backgrounds, they’re literally willing to die to achieve their goals. According to the books, they’re the best of the best, hence, AURA.
Because they’re not LOWTAC or MEDIUMTAC, they’re MAXTAC.
If you think about it lore wise, they kinda have to; after all they don’t want people pulling shit that they would have to respond to all the time.
Remember, there are only 2 groups you can call in Night City to reliably deal with Cyberpsychos.
You can hire a top-shelf Merc and burn a hole in your bank account, just to get a guy who’s only there for the Eddie’s.
Or you call in MaxTac who do it for the love of the game.
There is NO ONE else you can rely on to deal with them. Even Trauma Team will leave your ass if they can’t pull you out the moment they touch down.

I love how they are presented in the game. They are introduced as a force not to be messed with. They deal with any threat successfully, always.
Jackie tells you about them in the early game while you watch them dismantle some gangoons with ease.
You often hear or read about how feared they are.
You can watch that scene from Edgerunners where a Cyberpsycho is dismantling the entire NCPD, but doesn’t manage to do a single point of damage to MaxTac.
They simply destroy the psycho in Jinguji if you don’t do it fast enough. You can talk to one and find out what makes them roll.
They even easily take down (major DLC spoiler) >! Songbird infused with BlackWall !<.
Their presentation is just done right, so that even on V’s potential power level, you know they’re no pushovers.
