It didn’t take me as long as it took you, but I definitely didn’t get it right away either. I blame the fact that I didn’t know what it was when I started playing it.

A layered title, fit for a layered game.

“There’s a pun? Oh? Oh… Oooooooooohhhhhh…”

I realized it as soon as I saw the UI when choosing a room.
“Uuuuuh, Blueprints, okay.”

Had to repeat it 6 times before I got it. It’s 1:10 am and I gotta get up in 4 hours to go to work. Bye!

I still don’t really get the title. Like obviously blueprints but the game doesn’t feature any smurfs or depressed royalty as far as I’m aware.
Spiffman-Space
Is not (just) a pun… it’s (also) a clue.

Took me a while as well. Felt like a dingus when I figured it out
My kid pointed it out to me. He is 10. He loves the puzzles and watching.

I got that one right away.
Didn’t get Fractured But Whole till I saw an interview where they explained they couldn’t put the actual title on the box, so ended up with the pun instead. Don’t think I’d ever figure that one out if it wasn’t explained to me.

Oh.
I didn’t realize till now lol.

Haven’t played the game, but after looking at it closely due to this post, the measurement strpes on the door, made me realize the pun.

Totally get this. I’ve had games where I was so deep into side quests and exploration that I completely missed a clever pun or hidden meaning in the title until way later. It’s funny how our brains filter out what they think isn’t important when we’re hyper-focused on progression. There’s actually a term for it: ‘inattention blindness’. When we’re so fixated on a goal that we miss obvious things right in front of us.
It’s part of what makes gaming so immersive (and occasionally humbling).

In college the local watering hole was called Dukum Inn. I was talking about it years after college and my dad chuckled and said “Do Come In… clever.” I felt so dumb…

Took me a while, too! I was so excited when it dawned on me I made a post about it on steam, lol.
