When Shattered Veil dropped it easily took the spot of being my favorite map in BO6. A mansion with the mark 2 and wunderwaffe as the wonder weapons and you can both for free? I don’t think Janus Towers can top that. Let me know your opinions below.

Shattered Veil is my current favorite on BO6. I’m hopeful or Janus Towers! I’d like to see the longest, most convoluted Easter egg yet. I feel the previous ones, including Shattered Veil’s, have been too quick and easy. The only real challenge is the Z-Rex boss fight.
And we really don’t need another underground section in this map. They’re towers — let’s focus on ascending them rather than going underground! As long as they do this, I think we can top Shattered Veil.
As long as it doesn’t have any more of these “Four elemental WW that take 10 years to make and upgrade” we’re gonna be Gucci. Though Shattered Veil did bring back my beloved Ray Gun Mark 2 so gonna be hard to top that.
It better be. They made us wait and it’s literally the finale. I hope this game isn’t just another build up like Cold War was
I’m worried about how they’ll use the tower concept but it definitely could
Lot of stuff going on lore wise at this map, should be a fun main quest. Hope Blanchard survives, but I think we gotta prep for the worst
I definitely have faith. I’m hoping they used this extra time to really go all out
I think so. People like to doom and gloom about BO6 zombies but all the main maps of the game have been fantastic (Terminus, CDM, and SV). So I do have high hopes for Janus Towers/The Reckoning. What I’m concerned about is how will they manage to carry that momentum forward to BO7 when it’s releasing so soon after BO6.
Depends what they do and add, if we get the pistol wonder weapon and like SV we get the Blundergat as a surprise, I’ll be surprised and interested. But I do feel the Blundergat will be in BO7.
For now I’m gonna wait for the teasers first before seeing if it’ll be better than Shattered Veil.
Yes 100% as long as they nail transversal. Shattered veil struggles with no short cuts in some spots that just make running around to certain points take way too long.
It won’t if it has reused WWs again. Shattered veil was good but not iconic. This game needs a phenominal iconic map
You should look at it like everything else: prepare for the worst, but hope for the best. I’d say overall bo6 maps are pretty enjoyable and the only time we really downgraded was the tomb after citadel. So hope we get a good map but don’t get your hopes up too high. I want to to be at least shattered veil level, as long as we don’t downgrade
From the outside it looks just ok. Like 3 typical labs that you will travel between. I wonder if 3arc has been watching too many Youtubers play modded staircase or climbing maps and so they wanted to make a map like that. If they do I could see us starting at the bottom and working our way to the top for PaP and WWs. Then teleporting or zip-lining to the tops of the other towers. The only way this map could top Shattered Veil or become a staple map for me is if there is something completely unexpected inside those towers like getting warped to the great war or something other than another lab.
With the tower setting and content and story expectations, I think it will likely either be the least liked map in the game or the best map. I pray for the latter.
