River is the best. Judy is straight up using you, panam is kinda the situation where she’s unknowingly become more dependent on you(one person who helped her out of a depression type situation), kerry well… I mean the guy was literally about to off himself… You gotta be messed up to manipulate him into romance after helping him, only River makes sense because he’s mature and romantic stuff starts kinda naturally and independent of emotionally manipulative situations.
People don’t like it because it’s not as dramatic as the others but guess what… Dramatic romances don’t work even in real life they fail. Mature and emotionally stable romances become something more every single time not the other ones.

There’s no competition in my mind in terms of the scope of the differing romantic interest questlines. Everything you do with Panam and the Aldecados feels right at home in the main quest, especially given how she can tie in to your final ending if you choose to go that route. It slots in perfectly.
Panam and V’s dialogue routinely cracks me up, even on my fourth playthrough now. She seems like such a natural fit, like the two of them genuinely take a liking to each other. Judy seems constantly preoccupied with other issues and clamps on to V so late in the game. River comes out of nowhere with his proposal, even though the family visit and dinner are very sweet, then proves he isn’t ride or die in the end. Kerry has great quests that are a lot of fun, but his romance really is with Johnny more than V given what he’s transfixed by.

I literally rerolled my character to a girl after meeting Judy solely so I could romance her lol

All romanceable characters have their advantages and disadvantages like real people
I was first in the Panam camp as well but then I did a playthrough in witch I romanced Judy and she has so much more depth then Panam who feels just so flat compared to Judy.
But every romance option has their own advantages/disadvantages for everybody and all will have different favorites at the end of the day.
If you enjoy Panam then stick with her every time but I’ll be having my fill with Judy instead

I think everyone agrees that Panam and Judy are the best, depending whether you prefer playing as BroV or FemV.
your_name_22
My first playthrough i was full Team Judy. But then 2nd time i went Panam and their responses to V’s situation fully sold Panam to me. You help Judy out with Evelyn and then after that it’s very much her doing her own thing and she says good luck to you, but no real help. Panam is so all over trying to help however, like, appearing at Misty’s shop in the middle of the night ready to take on Arasaka help. I’m here for that energy

as a guy I had hard time to romance males… but even so, I would “objectively” say male romance options were underwhelming..
Judy vs. Panam..?
Judy is a broken toy working as a toymaker.. She is the “save me” kind of girl that has more problems in her life than Adam has cyberwear..
Panam is a rebel “childish” girl who has more temper than your ex and fuse shorter than a Somalian kid’s dinner menu..
But still I will pick Panam over Judy.. Panam can chill at bonefire, take care of herself and fix her stuff (and girl fixing her car is sexy).. Judy is a bit too many problems I would like to deal with..

Panam isn’t the best romance option when you’re playing a female V because she isn’t on the table at all.
MoofDeMoose
Honestly, as hot as Panam is, she’s my second least favorite of the 4 main ones. Judy is my #1, then Kerry, then Panam, then obviously River

If you ok with romancing adult women but with personality of unstable teen maybe yeah but I avoid especially irl.

I haven’t personally played judy’s romance yet but to me with everything shes gone through it feels abit weird pursing her. Again maybe it changes through her romance story i just can bring my self to try it yet.

Ah, again. You’re totally the only person who’s ever said that this in sub. Man, All this sub talks about is updates & panam/judy romance over and over… also can’t forget the “river romance option sucks” post atleast twice a day. Lol.

she’s so bad she can fix me
Stanislas_Biliby
I like her as a friend but i couldn’t date her. Too unstable. Judy is more chill, i like that.

The only ride or die that I’d ride *and* die with in that whole game.

I find so funny this sub, someone post they like Panam a bunch of people can’t respect their opinion and says she’s this or that, she throws tantrums, she’s annoying and so on. But when someone talks about Claire WOW more than 7K likes everybody praising, like bro, she literally manipulates V instead of just hiring him to kill the guy but always excuses to the action (and no problem in her story arc, it’s the characters story, same as any others in the game, same as Judy she’s really rude sometimes or arrogant but that’s her character and I like her too). I don’t get this sub lol

Nah man. Telling Panam off about how stupid stealing the Militech tank is and giving her a taste of her own narcissistic toxic bullshit was so cathartic. After romancing her several times it just felt… freeing.
Militech losing a flathead to some crime hijinks is one thing. A Nomad clan gallavanting around the open desert in one of their tanks doing heists with it, or selling it is an insult that won’t go unaddressed in the long run. Not romancing her saves so many lives potentially, and saves your dignity. Bonus.

Panam is a train wreck. Impulsive, disorganized, moody. And I love that.
Besides, with that ass she can be two train wrecks for all I care.

I agree, it feels so “off” not romancing her. Currently am on a fem V run and not flirting with Panam and developing that close knit with the Aldecados feels incomplete.

Panam is #1. But I wish we had more romance options. Or more open romance options without the gender lock

Anyone in a happy marriage knows Panam is a huge red flag especially for a 33yr old. Then again, your character V is the questionable too, so I guess it all works out.
