What do you do when you simply become too OP?

Go for the “dont fear the reaper” ending on very hard

  2. SkynBonce

Usually when I think I’m getting too OP, a random street goon guns me down with a fucking Umbra.

  3. 6maniman303

I never really understood the “too op” idea. Just have fun. Increase difficulty settings, remove some chrom, literally no one forces you to have an op build.

Turn the difficulty up to Very Hard and start the game over.

Now I’m level 60 and doing 3000 damage quickhack combos and flying through the air with smart SMG’s wondering if I need to get a less min-maxed build to make it harder.

I love my katana + Sandy build but this one I’ve got now is way more versatile. A Cyberware Malfunction + Synapse Burnout + CM + CM combo basically kills anything and holds stealth no less.

You aren’t truly OP until you are play on max difficulty and killing everything without dying.

Go find Stefan in a back alley, watch the suspect BD he is offering, and use the outcome as an occasion to lose your chrome and reset your perks for a completely different playstyle. Or for a better challenge, just lose all cyberware and play as a good old ‘ganic’.

  6. Agreeable-Note-1996

Turn the difficulty up…. you will still murder everything.. but when you face arasoka or militech it will be a different kinda challenge

  7. SirLazarusDiapson

Find every Scav snd Maelstromer and do the world a service

  8. wychemilk

Use some weapons that don’t synergize with your build just for fun. Also just go ham and be OP hahaha

  9. Play while doing everything possible not to be shot

Or use a build that isn’t super OP

  10. Delux_Takeover

I just go full cyberpsycho. If they can’t keep up with me, that’s their problem, not mine. Time stops, heads pop, and that’s about it.

  11. coolwithsunglasses

Max difficulty MaxTac fights. We need more ways to endlessly fight enemies

  12. yungmoney93949834

Just continue to slaughter pretty much, i just roleplay as unkillable demon king. Pretty much impossible to die with sandevistan and heart pump shotgun build with dashes

  13. SaladZealousideal938

Start over , that’s what I’ve done six times now!

  14. HOLY_amogus

I once discovered where sandy actually is (I thought it was supposed to be in spine section and looked for it there) and went on a psycho run and cleared out half of the map of those NCPD requests

  15. I remember thinking I was God before playing phantom liberty.

I still won but some bosses put up a fight.

  16. You download mods to become even more OP, of course.

  17. Pm-me-ur-happysauce

    Meet hanaka at embers
    Go in alone with Johnny
    Kill everyone

  18. XxAsparagoosexX

I only ever play very hard after my first playthrough because the game is just way too easy without it. Sometimes you get cheap deaths but it’s better than steamrolling everyone and makes dodging extremely important and gives more credence to stealth in the early game.

  19. I got rid of all my chromes except for the convenient ones on the right.

  20. Ishmael_IX-II

Sword play-through was the most fun for me. Loved slicing em up

  21. FordPrefect2217

I played through it in it’s original state as a Sandy Samurai. I only used pistols and Blades. Before they changed the perk system and the way Armor is calculated, I’d have over 4k armor if I had a blade equipped, and I was in constant motion. Plus things like, 100% more damage to targets at full health, and and additional 3% additive damage for each 1% of health they were missing. Blades were insanely broken at one time.

  22. IndependentPay3522

When I platinumed the game I felt that NC was too small for me and I decided to start again, a new beginning but now starting as Corpo and with the most difficult difficulty. He made me learn to be stealthy, use my ram to the maximum, generate distractions to enter places avoiding conflicts until Placide made me understand by beating that I was not strong enough hahahaha

  23. ToastedDreamer

I reset skills and build a full netrunner mono wire build so I can enjoy a whole new type of op where you play god mid fight. Annoying sniper? STICK SOME IRON IN YOUR MOUTH-

  24. HopelessGretel

Now you enjoy being the most chromed gonk from Night City, I like the difficult curve in Hard difficult and the long term pay off, I don’t like Very Hard because it breaks my immersion, I have literally 10 times more Chrome than dudes and they can tank almost everything I throw and two shot me.

  25. East-Breadfruit4508

Walk around and snap my fingers and watch people do the job for me and since there’s zero tracking afterwards….yhu just keep doing it lmao

  26. swiftiefirst

Why no Byakko choom? It would have been more OP without all the walking. Leap & cut.

  27. venReddit

not just “very hard”… hardest difficulty and start with phantom liberty and stick to it until you finished it. no main quests.

“dont fear the reaper” on hardest difficulty becomes easy after you managed dogtown underleveled
