I just put together my new upgrade,
Ryzen 9950x3d
Oloy 2×48 (96GB) 6400mhz CL32 1.35v
Asus x870e strix-e
And upgraded my cooling as well.
I’ve updated bios, I’ve tried out EXPO, and I’ve been trying to sneak up tweaks for the ram and achieving ideal 1:1 ratios and things of that sort. I’m a bit new to this degree of tweaking, I’ve been comfortable setting fclk to 1800 to go with my rams 3600 on my previous system, but the current rules seem a little more complicated to me with all the different ratios and changes.
Above I have my latest test to see if it boots into it, and it does. I started with my default EXPO running what I believe was likely 2:1, then changed it to what I think was 6200 at 1:1, and now I THINK I’m running the 1:1 for 6400? What should I be adjusting here to refine things?
EXPO 1 is on (6400, 32-38-38-76 1.35v)
EClk mode- Synchronous mode
Memory frequency 6400mhz
Fclk frequency 2133mhz
Power down enable- disabled
Uclk DIV1 mode- Uclk=MemClk
ADDR cmd mode (gear down)- buf
Voltages picture attached.
I have not yet touched PBO, and have yet to try undervolting my cpu/gpu or anything yet to hopefully ideally achieve more performance with better efficiency. Am I doing anything wrong? Where should I be going from where I’m currently at to optimize?
Any more settings not specified i can try to see what they’re currently at as well
