People out there looking for work-arounds for Chrome when all they need to do is install Firefox. LOL.

  2. centurion770

Unlock Origin Lite has replaced Ublock Origin. It still works

  3. PretendPrint9713

I’ve been using Firefox since the early days, and I will never switch to another browser (maybe I might switch to brave)

  4. Yousef_Slimani

Well you can re-enable it by enabling the chrome flags if you want to!

  5. BenignBludgeon

You can still install it from their GitHub manually

  6. DashReverie

I want to make the switch to firefox but are there still memory leaks?

  7. DctrGizmo

Bye Chrome! I stuck around until this finally became a thing.

  8. GlobalManHug

Switched cause of this and very happy, but am I missing something about autofill? Chrome has done this flawlessly for years and FF not at all?

  9. TomTomXD1234

chrome users will literally reinvent the wheel before they decide to switch browser and it is very funny to watch

  10. Took until the day uBlock Origin stopped working in Chrome for everyone to finally catch up.

  11. JellyTheBear

Still worked in Edge today. Microsoft at least doesn’t depend on selling ads.

  12. NoPitch5581

Been using Brave for years now and I haven’t run into any issues with ad blocking. Another alternative to consider.

  13. snowlulz

Been using Firefox since ’06, always been the best

I know I’m an old man but I’ve been using Firefox ever since Netscape folded…. I only launch Chrome when dragged there by some site that codes in a way that forces for the best or at least usable experience

  15. Firefox is terribly optimized, It’s a bloated mess

  16. KarmaTorpid

    People here bitching about Chome:

*Downloads free software from an advertising company*

    “THERE ARE ADS!!??!”

    *SSSSSSSSSCCCCCCCCCCCCRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…*

  17. EarlGreyDuck

Do any of you guys use DuckDuckGo?

  18. Jaibamon

    I use Chrome and Edge.

I also use a DNS that blocks ads. So this doesn’t affects me.

I suggest you to use a DNS to block ads too. Many VPNs have that feature, but also there are single DNS services like Adguard or Control-D.

  19. PeaceAccomplished289

It could be better if you install Libre Wolf instead of Firefox

  20. Goatfixr

Why isnt everyone on brave? No ad ons necessary. The shit just works. I listen to podcasts on YouTube with no ads while my phone is locked.

  21. MillyMan105

After using chrome for 7 years I reinstalled Firefox and no regrets!

  22. danivus

Just over here using uBlock Lite without issue…

  23. crimsonkarma13

Just use Adguard, simple as that!

The fact that Chrome accumulated so much market share is why they felt emboldened to implement anti-consumer policies to benefit their other businesses.

Hopefully we can get back to having 3 or 4 distinct browser engines with decent share.

Watching Ladybird with great interest in that regard…

  25. Ok-Risk4825

Huh? I can’t hear you over the non-ads from Firefox.

  26. Hoombus

For anyone that doesnt know chrone has never been the best browser, all marketing

  27. AetherWithAnA

Still works fine on opera. I’m not switching to Firefox anytime soon.
