Second Wind is back in 2025 and will be happening in Wellington, New Zealand.
Notable players participating include DNF|Mulgold, THY|Chikurin, Varrel|Rangchu, Yamasa|Nobi, QAD|Yagami, Zarzob, GhostChips, CCE|SebPro101, Auragasm, Blackout, Burnoutfighter and many more.
The main event is going to be Tekken 8 as it’s a Challenger Event on the Tekken World Tour so hopefuls will be gathering since points are on the line.
Accordingly, Tekken 8 stands at more than 60 participants followed by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Street Fighter 6, both of which crossed the 50 mark, and next by Rivals of Aether 2 and Guilty Gear Strive which each have more than 40 players respectively.
There will also be tournament play for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Project+, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, Rivals of Aether, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes], BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, DNF Duel as well as a Doubles bracket for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Streaming is being done at Respawn Esports Centre, BTS Smash, AlastairBL and NZ Smash.
