I made a comment on a general gaming sub about how it’s a beautiful tradgedy and one of the best most emotional games I’ve ever played and was met with “must’ve played a different version, that’s not what I remember”. Like, no shit fuck face the whole point of the game is choices yet pretty much everything ends in a dark depiction which is what the post was about looking for. Ugh

13 mil copies is like.. years ago, this is one old ah meme

  3. IAmTheMindTrip

Cyberpunk would have been glorified as one of the top 5 greatest games ever made if they waited one more year to release and polished it some more.

  4. Wellp we can tell you use internet explorer with how old this meme is

  5. OneSaltyStoat

    This meme remembers Ebunike’s administration

Guy on the right reminds me of me, with less charisma

I remember when people complained that the game would be woke…

  9. I ignored all the bad stuff in the beginning. I played this game the first time last year and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. So what if it started out bad? it eventually got incredibly good. Same with No Man’s Sky btw. yes the devs said some dumb things, but it’s an awesome game right now and you never know what reason the devs have to do what they do.

I still encounter people that didn’t get the memo that it wasn’t fashionable to hate on the game anymore. They’re still sipping that 2020 Hateraid and haven’t played the game– ever! Their opinions are formed from someone elses article written 5 years ago now.

Is this narrative still a thing? I didn’t see anyone bitch about this game in years

    13 million was 1st month🤣🤣
    Rn it’s 35 million.
Kinda interesting though, how first month rating was 78% on steam, and also 70% of the copies sold on pc. Very interesting given how huge of an overblown hate train it was. To put it into perspective, rdr2 pc launch month had 70% ratings, MH wilds which is just unoptimized but a good game is having 18% rating on steam recently (60% on launch) and it also has sold 10M copies, the hate for it is not even 0.001% of what Cyberpunk got.

I don’t like the aesthetics at all in the game. Got bored before beating it. Was mid. 5/10 game. Story was trash

who let this meme out the retirement home?

“Haters” and it’s just anyone that wanted the actual game they advertised. I wanna be in night city, not play as V in night city.

Youtube and IG comments call Fortnite: “Dead Game.”

    😂

It’s now *Very Positive* and *Overwhelmingly Positive* for recent reviews.

I mean, TBH at this point YT is more likely to show you Starfield vs C2077 comparissons – seems like people realised bugs were the effect of actually aiming high instead of overpromising and underdelivering.

I mean, be honest, how many games were previously that rich in features and story while NPCs are active during conversations etc?

This level of open world first-person is basically only Bethesda and they have nothing on C2077.

Only similar revolution in quality in its own type of game (in last 15 years) was Baldurs Gate 3.

BTW: Before posting it I never actually realised the cee-pee part might sound wrong…
