Been slowly tweaking this setup over the past few months. Just finished the custom monitor riser. Glued and clamped two solid wood slabs, sanded it smooth, wrapped the top with wood vinyl and made the legs from wooden coasters.

    Questions:

    1. I have so much respect that you made ur own riser. Why not just buy one on Amazon, did u want a good quality one without having to pay up the nose for grovemade and the like?

    2. How is the light bar given ur monitor is so huge, which light bar did u get?

    3. Given you custom made it, have you considered adding an additional shelf to your riser? I got this $100 walnut riser from Amazon that looks and feels really solid (I love wood, walnut and purpleheart in particular) and it came with a shelf that is useful for storing stuff. Though, you have a very minimalist set up.

Dimensions on the top and where did you get it? Cost as well. Looks amazing.
