My friend got the game for me when it first came out (for my birthday). I was busy first couple days, so he was near Act 3 when I started. Actual conversation.
Me: “Liking it so far?”
Him: “It’s awesome.”
Me: “Looking forward to it. How’s Kari’s character?”
(I’m friends with VA Kari Wahlgren, and her being in it was a big reason I was interested in the game)
Him: “Which one is she… oh. Oh no. Um… No spoilers, but I got some bad news…”

We donāt know that much about Jackie as a whole, but damn did CDPR make him lovable and make his death hurt like hell. When I first saw it, I actually teared up a little, and it takes a lot for any sort of media to make me cry.
