Listing your display brand first and last.

  3. glyiasziple

Best order is cpu, GPU, ram, storage

  4. DatabaseHonest

I’m not classy, just old enough to remember the times when CPU was more expensive than GPU.

RAM goes last because its the longest and is fine being cut off.

But that’s a good idea, I should list all my RGB components and the case!

I missed the part where nobody bothers to list their motherboard at all any more. That was always top of the list when I was a lad.

Listing your OS first should be next (I use Arch btw)

  10. Meddlingmonster

Na you need to list the MOSFET number

  11. NatoBoram

RAM first? In which world does that make sense?

  12. Ordinary_Mechanic_

I approve of this post. I had been using a low end system for years until my wife bought me a present.

  13. list your mouse pad then your desk may you fucking troglodytes

  14. Enigmars

CPU first makes the most sense to me

I don’t care if I have to live with integrated graphics, I need my 16 Cores for all my VMs and docker containers (Performance cores only btw, none of that bs efficiency cores)

  15. Remarkable-Ad9145

    Cpu-gpu-ram

    Everything else is mental illness

  16. JediGRONDmaster

Real pc enthusiasts list their fan splitters first

  17. AnarchoKommunist47

    What about… The motherboard??

  18. Spleshga

Back in the Dial-up Era, when I was hunting for parts using nothing more than my fast legs, my slow wit and some paper catalogues – they’ve listed CPU first, then RAM, GPU, storage and sound card/other accessories.

That was the way for me ever since.

I had this written in my Steam profile for years lol:

    PC Specs:

    Light Colour: Red

    Mouse Cable Thickness: 2mm

    Keyboard Volume: 95.8cm³

    Dust Level on Monitor: 0.01mm

Remarkable Traits: My birds poop a lot on my left speaker
