This has been going around on Twitter and it’s being ridiculed because it actually makes things more confusing.
Even if you simulate being deaf by muting the game, it does more harm than good. Deaf people will have a bad time.
Clutters it way too much
So how does this work? Shows you where the sound is coming kinda seems like it gives away a players position legal wall hacks. Not say it is but at 1st glance I see this abusable by some

How about improving the actual audio, this feels like a crutch to a degree.
