I’d settle for a “no crash” release of New Vegas.
Assuming Fallout 5 is the next big Bethesda Studios game after The Elder Scrolls 6, that would put its release somewhere in the mid 2030’s.

I think they gonna drop the New Vegas remake at the same time as the tv show or day later, that’s a great opportunity for them to capitalize.
Fallout TV is great but turn around times for games are usually atrocious these days. Unless the TV show goes for like 9 seasons it’ll be over before they finish anything actually new.
This can mean anything. They have been working on ES6 for very long so who knows how far it is. They also got a remaster done by another team.
Remember when studios made new games?
We already knew this for years. Virtuos is also working on it.
Fallout 3 with FO4’s walk-in power armour is all I really want, with updated graphics.

Everyone’s working on a remaster because it’s easier than actually putting forth creative ideas for a new game. Everything is now about maximizing as much profit as possible in the quickest time.
Beyond the usual meme of Todd Howard selling you the billionth copy of a pre-existing game, I do think what they’re doing is working towards a finalized transition to Unreal Engine. We saw the first step with Oblivion Remastered. Parts of the engine were ported over to unreal. With each remaster they’re likely going to port another aspect of the creation engine over to unreal. Eventually they’ll have a whole new engine. It’s honestly not a horrible way of ensuring that a very difficult engine transition happens as smoothly as possible.
Give me Switch 2 ports of anything other than Fallout Shelter and I’ll be happy.

Let’s hope Todd learned it’s not just about graphics. It’s about story, choices, and making us feel alone in a ruined world.
Come on TODD, all I want you to do is fix Fallout 4 and re-release it. No bugs, an updated system, keep the base building and the core mechanics, but fix all the stupid stuff you promised. Add better weather mechanics, make the world feel alive with more raiders, more bugs, more ghouls—hundreds of thousands of them roaming the wasteland. Make FO4 epic, bigger, and actually dangerous. Honestly, I’d fork out a hundred bucks for that in a heartbeat.
Give us new quests, deeper choices, and expand the settlements so every player’s world feels unique. Let the Commonwealth actually react to what we do, make factions matter, and flesh out NPCs so they actually feel alive. Improve graphics, update the AI, and for the love of god, fix the old glitches that have haunted the game since launch.
I honestly wouldn’t mind a full Fallout 3 remake, it was a masterpiece but it was limited by it’s technical limitations and jank, a full remake with 60fps RTX, improved UI and better integrating the DLCs into the base game would make for quite the experience
It’s really not inconceivable that the Oblivion Remastered team is working on a Fallout remaster of some kind.

The plan seems for them to release F3R alongside Season 2 of Fallout, I’d be surprised if it does but we know that’s the next remaster followed with a NV remaster hopefully.

I am a bit surprised they are doing a remaster of 3 over New Vegas given the next season of the TV show takes place there.

I’ve already gotten all the achievements, and the Platinum twice. I WILL NOT BUY FALLOUT 3 REMASTER…I WILL NOT BUY IT…unless it’s a good sale.
