Ubisoft demands we destroy our game discs when they say so. Good luck with that.

  1. And u do this by RIPping them.

That should be considered a bad joke.

  2. Gatlyng

And how are they going to enforce that?

  3. Scarcrow1806

    They what?!
    Where did they say that

  4. xTeamRwbyx

I’m going to download my Ubisoft games and put them on a backup drive now out of spite

  5. Choubidouu

Can’t wait to see ubisoft lawyers toc on my door to tell them to fuck off.

  6. solidstatepr8

Reason #194,304 to never buy a damn thing from this rolling clown containment vehicle of a company

Or at least put out a product worth destroying first

  7. AcctAlreadyTaken

There are so many games being released I can easily just put them on the list.

    Do Not Buy List:
    – Ubisoft games

  8. ElasticBiscuit

Ok Ubisoft. I’ll break them when you buy them back from me.

  9. LOST-MY_HEAD

What a wild time. Waiting for them to send Pinkertons to collect my 360 copy of black flag

  10. domonanon

modern game companies r actually run by the oldest and most mentally disabled this world has ever seen but ubisoft especially

  11. comasxx

Ubisuck act like they are Ferrari of game studio.

  12. UglyInThMorning

This has been in basically every EULA for at least the last 30 years.

  13. FemJay0902

I still have my The Crew downloaded and I used the tool that came out before the shutdown to download my save from their servers. When the fan project releases this summer, I’ll have lost knowing and Ubisoft will have lost the consumer’s faith

  14. RageinaterGamingYT

What a waste. Even if nobody would ever do that, just the thought of it is a waste. Why make something just to ruin it :/

  15. vaikunth1991

It’s not just ubisoft it’s there in almost every game company EULA

  16. likeonions

Rip all your discs to ISOs. Disc rot is a real problem.

  17. WoodooTheWeeb

We can punch them in the face for each disk right?

  18. IntroductionDue7945

how can they enforce that though?

  19. zepsutyKalafiorek

Is there any option to easly launch then without ubisoft shitty launcher?

I would grab some older assassin creed games and put it on cold storage disk

  20. TKMankind

I would be shocked if the lawyers who wrote this seriously expect the consumers to respect it.

But I wonder why they wrote it anyway. This is unenforceable, it certainly violates multiple laws in many countries, etc. What the point ? To please the shareholders ?

  21. barduk4

god i hope stop killing games succeeds these game publisher chuds need to be taken down a peg or two

  22. enzob7319

Did they ever hear of “Streisand effect”? Lol.

  23. Warcraft_Fan

I still have one of their game from mid 90s that hasn’t been supported since CBM went under the first time. I double dog dare them to come to my house and destroy the 5.25″ floppy disk. Because I won’t destroy any physical media I have.

  24. BraveFencerMusashi

How about everyone just drop Ubisoft like a bad habit.

  25. Rhyzon27

Either I’m alucinating this or Ubisoft’s upper echelon has gone completely insane and out of touch with reality.

  26. Lebhleb

Ubisoft coming to my house to break my knees and force me to break my CD’s in half.

We really have gotten there smh.

  27. crazyman3561

I love when the “Masterrace” decides to remain unenlightened to the fact that most EULAs across all publishers have this clause.

But Ubisoft bad so gimme upvotes!

  28. StomachAromatic

This doesn’t even make sense. What Ubisoft game do you just have backup physical copies of? What game of theirs have they had in the last 10 years where you would own more than one copy of?
