If its an app on your task bar you can enable the ability to end task through the task bar itself by just right clicking on the app and clicking the option. I think this is enabled through developer options.

that also on linux a problem with some taskmanagers. also what is annoying if you start an app and nothing happens and you get no trace like you start it from console

Under windows 11 you can change the settings so you can kill programs directly from the taskbar

Honestly, Id like Overwatch and Wow to stop sucking up background resources when I close them. Im sick of closing the game the opening task manager to close it again. Fucker sucks 2-3k ram IN THE FUCKING BACKGROUND

Go into developer settings and turn on the setting so you have the end task button by right clicking on it in your taskbar
