Starting again and doing streetkid another go before trying out Corpo. I was thinking a shotgun build this time but idk, never loved shotguns in any games. I also considered a netrunner build. So far I have done a stealth pistol build and a agile mantis blade build, who also ended up doing stealth pistol combat too😅

I can’t bring myself to do anything but stealth netrunner
Sandy stealth is my recent favorite. It’s a higher challenge to stay undetected without hacks and it’s really fun
After multiple playthroughs… I gotta say that the Sandy/Max Cool build is so fun. It allows you to do high speed stealth which is so fun. You can clear a whole building in 45 seconds with no detection if you do it right. It’s the perfect split between a stealth build and a speed build. So much fun.
2nd tier (because it’s wildly different) would be the netrunner/body build because you’re still up in the action but have complete control of everything.
Sandy mantis blades makes me feel like a cyberpsycho and is super fun, but if I wanna be chill I do stealth throwing knives, very fun.
Nerd Rage. Twenty Body and twenty Intelligence. Punch everything after locking it down so it can’t fight back. WHOSE GETTING BULLIED NOW NERDS???
By far pistol katana. I’ve tried most of the popular builds and it’s really good for me. I like to headshot though.. can be silent.
Then when you need/want to pull out the katana, you obliterate mobs.
Gorilla arms berserk too much fun
Current build is Doomslayer. Built around the Sovereign double barrel, dashing around and massacres/dismemberment.
Corpo Solo Berserker/Gorilla Arms/submachine guns
Netrunner stealth – I love sitting outside a building, hacking into cameras and killing everything in the building with quickhacks without even moving.
Tech sniper – same thing but using snipers to kill everything through walls.
Netrunner – with a dose of stealthy-headshots with a suppressed handgun!
Sadly we don’t have suppressed snipers (except the Overwatch – the Nomad-Version of the Techtronika SPT-32 Grad Anti-Material-Rifle)…truly sad, makes the game feel like they forgot how to make decent suppressors and ammo like .300 Blackout.
Why? Well, I can (ok: Not super easily, as I live in Germany and my country has a gun-hater-culture – most Germans treat guns as those evil things that (on their own! Without a shooter!) go out and kill people, if you don’t securely lock them up!) shoot a gun in real-life, but on the fly hack wireless devices in seconds? Nope, I can’t and that makes the netrunner so attractive, that character is basically the WIZARD of Cyberpunk, while the Rockerboy (sadly not in the game!) would be the BARD, the Solo is the FIGHTER/BARBARIAN (unless he plays 100% stealth, then he’s the ROGUE!) and a Techy (sadly not in the game – they did after all remove us controling bots!) would be a SUMMONER or NECROMANCER!
ps: Hell, I can’t even hack at all in RL – not even if you give me hours!
I’m on my first ever play through rn, lvl 46ish. I’m doing a katana, sandi, throwing knife build. It’s probably not as crazy as net runner or stealth builds, but I feel like it it’s pretty op. I use a tier 5 katana with 2 purple cyclone mods atm as my main & with apogee sandi & axolotl cyberware. It’s fun doing the slow mo & then watching all the bodies drop after it’s over. Your mobility is insane too & I feel like it’d be hard to play the game again without all the dashing and jumping.
Big dumb gonk build
Max tech with the edgerunner perk and cool with body at like 15 and reflex at 16. I also usually go for lots and I mean LOTS of things that boost armor.
First ever was a bit of a mixed bag then I went in with a shotgun centered build. Now I’m a netrunner with mantis blades and I love it 😌
Gun
I’ve only used Nomad Cyberdeck. Think um gonna go with streetkid Berserker next. So I’ve gotta invest in Body points should I go with Gorilla arms or a melee of some kind like Sasquatches hammer?
Sandy + blades + throwing knives is the most fun I’ve had in any combat setting in any game. Netrunner is fun but it almost feels impersonal how OP you get, and berserk or blunt weapons just don’t suit me well.
It’s hard to beat a pistol/throwing knives cool build with some netrunner is so much fun
This is my first time playing but I am doing a Netrunner Knife chick with a metric ass ton of implants.
Besides my first playthrough I haven’t done a run that hasn’t had throwing knives it’s just satisfying
The commando build don’t need a sandy kerinzkov does the trick and you absolutely melt with smgs and assault rifles with the aiming perks
