    I use light mode during the day and dark mode at night. Call me crazy but my eyes are not as sensitive to the light mode.

    Google docs has no dark mode option and it is just 99% white and 1% black borders and text. Its fucking blinding for a site that you’re supposed to be looking at for an extended amount of time while typing

    dunno if this is gonna sound stupid, but dark mode make me focus on the screen too much to be able to see the text, i don’t have to do this in light mode for some reason so i prefer it

    I had issues with dizziness and nausea while working (it’s the meds I am on) and the only way to keep it under control is to look away frequently. I do no have this issue at my PC, and the only difference? Well, other than paying for one and getting paid for the other is that the software I use for work does not have a dark mode.

    Wastes more power and causes eye strain. Also OLED panels make dark mode a treat to use.

    Ah yes… the sweet memories of playing assassins creed 2 / brotherhood. Playing comfortably in the in the middle of the night when you’re supposed to be sleeping, only to be ambushed by a loading screen bright enough to burn your retinas. Sweet childhood.

    I have super light sensitive eyes. I literally can’t see on a sunny day without sunglasses. Dark mode is the best thing to every happen. I wish irl had a 24/7 dark mode.
