This sequence in GITS is my favourite in the whole film. We get a pause from the action and the philosophising and get to have a breather and see scenes of the city as Kusanagi walks its streets while the soundtrack goes off. **chef’s kiss**

Every moment of GitS (1995) is just magical. Every dialogue, scene, piece of art, ambience, introspectiveness and philosophy/dialectics.

It’s probably a little cliche but I do really like the characters especially in Cyberpunk 2077. World wise though, definitely ghost in the shell.

Basically Hong Kong, but more and more signs are being removed daily

cyberpunk 2077 nails character aesthetic and the cyberware, but in terms of atmosphere and vibe I really enjoy the dark/industrial vibe of the matrix movies. also worth mentioning that both of these nailed it musically! the matrix soundtrack’s cool and 2077 offers many different genres to listen to in the future and many of these artists became a staple in my playlists (not just the 2077 ost) 😄
