Been using a projector for a while now and only recently got the bright idea that since it runs Google TV, I can just install an emulator off the Play Store on it, pair my controller via BT, pair a wireless mouse via BT to make file management more convenient as I copy paste files over WLAN using a file management app (Cx) and off I go.

These projectors now have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and a capable SoC like phones or tablets, so no reason why gaming directly from it should not work.

Colour me impressed!

Now to get all the retro consoles on this thing.

Have you tried Starfox ? That would be amazing!!

  2. Is there an N64 controller that works with these games? I tried playing Banjo-Tooie and it was a nightmare.

Oh, that’s beautiful. I just ran an HDMI cable between my TV and PC to run the emulators. Had to put a rug down because I’ve tripped on it more than once.

The fact you don’t have Rush 2 with the stunt track is a crime
