Its been awhile since I did BOTD, but it may be because you need to look through the shield then you see that spark after, then throw the retriever at it. Since you missed the first one, maybe you needed to look through the shield again to get the spark before throwing the next. That’s my guess, this step can be buggy at times.

You have to make sure you look at it without zombie blood through the shield for a few seconds, and then you get yourself the zombie blood and do it.

You didn’t throw the redeemer fast enough soon after looking at him you took a good pause then threw on top add the latency of the server and or wether or not your on WIFI.

cause you threw the retriever over the pole, you need to aim at the kronorium and not the bird so for this location you need to hit the top of the pole, ik it’s very stupid and this has happened to me many times
