It would be counted as Borgware, so heavy humanity loss. He got a bad die roll and had low humanity to begin with.

Well, its a pretty significant piece of chrome, AND it malfunctioned and released an AI into him.

It’s Borgware AND the base neuralware needed to actually control the arms mentally, so it’s probably some pretty high HL rolls there, to be fair.
In the tabletop max humanity is 80. With 2 artificial shoulder mounts (one for each pair of new arms) and 4 cyberarms with the extra joint upgrade, he’d lose at least 68 humanity right there.
To be fair also, the inhibitor chip that “protected his upper brain” or something got fried. So he also had a safety net that got destroyed.
2 sets of borgware shoulder mounts, all 4 limbs, and an AI to pilot them? You’d go cyberpsycho too.
I mean, in cyberpunk’s terms, this is two installations of the Artifical shoulder mount, and then Tech Upgraded to mount 4 cybersnakes in it.
Or the sycust cyberspine and some T^UP fuckery to fit more snakes lol
Either way, Thats not a LIGHT amount of chrome, even before you account for the malevolent AI in there lol
