time for a general strike! the powers that be can use AI to solve for their economic woes.

I’m convinced that people in positions of power like this eventually turn into psychopaths… Talk about being completely out of touch with reality.

What a complete lack of empathy and self awareness.

  5. HotMachine9

Im going to train Copilot to hate this guy in particular

Microsoft seems to have unique talent for hiring completely tone-deaf people.

  7. Anyone that tells people who were fired to talk to a computer chat algorithm for therapy is insane

    Bro what the fuck lmao

I actually had to look at the quote because I thought it was taken out of context. But nope, it’s a bluesky post that says precisely that.

What a fucking psychopath. He even gives suggested prompts to use to reach out to friends that got fired in a warm way. *That’s not a fucking warm way of doing anything you fucking idiot.*

If there are any kids or teenagers reading this. Please let this be a lesson to you that high paying, or high ranking jobs are not a sign of intelligence. It’s a sign of ruthlessness.

WTF! Blurting out such out of touch and absolute apathetic statements makes me wonder if dude is an AI!

  10. So fucking tone deaf and insulated from the harm they’re causing.

I’m a therapist. Don’t use AI for therapy; it can’t replicate the genuine warmth, compassion, and nonjudgmental stance that a therapist offers.

  12. So will he be responsible when the AI tells someone to kill themselves

  13. MS’s new policy on “whatever it is bundle copilot with it” seems to be taking shape.

100% justifiable to smack the shit out of his wig. No one likes what I said, damn that sucks, sue me…

  15. If you’ve ever worked for a large corporation you will know that they don’t give 2 shits about anyone outside of the boardroom……. they don’t view you as a human being, they would rather you did’nt have any rights and they sure as shit don’t wanna hear about what you think.

Microsoft is waist deep in the AI train and it’s quite clear that this is their main focus going forward, I would expect to see them continue layoffs in their gaming division and fully exit the hardware manufacturing market for the next generation after the Series X. They will most likely outsource manufacturing to brands like ASUS and just slap their logo on the box with a new windows skin.

The ABK acquisition was one of the worst things that was ever allowed to happen in gaming and the shareholders want a return on that $68 billion…… it’s so sad to see what gaming has become. We need more independant studios than ever before or we will end up with a few massive companies that own everything, stifle innovation, no taking risks and worst of all trying to push AI into everything.

  16. Microsoft should use AI to understand why no one will buy their crap anymore.

  17. REDROBIN2K18

Microsoft is really trying to kill the Xbox brand.

  18. vernes1978

Please remember this when we see AI quality decline as it starts to eat its own shit as training data.
Do not work for Microsoft, let it burn.

  19. paulsoleo

You know what, maybe we really should let the world burn.

Microsoft became such a piece of shit business, every company wants to earn ofcourse. But they have been making record profits, still laying off massive amounts of people. Every aspect of the business becomes worse.
