What are some other obvious things the game tells you but people seem to pay zero attention to?

Panam’s outbursts are actually completely rational and make sense if you pay attention to the game.

    Her plans might suck

But her outbursts are one of the most rational things in the game.

    Fine. I’ll clarify

Saul is a tyrant. He’s also a stupid tyrant that’s wrecking the tribe. Every choice he’s made has failed, and is now trying to force the tribe to become corpos.

Panam is watching this all fall apart around him, and nobody is standing up to him. Nobody is calling him on his bullshit.

It’s a crazy situation. Everyone is congratulating an idiotic tyrant for making their lives worse and not standing up to him. Weird. And familiar

And all she has left is to yell to the sky and get pissed off. I can relate.

She doesn’t know that Saul uses reprisals to keep people in line. Scorpion tried to oppose him and Saul prevented scorpion from earning any money for a year. This scared the rest of the tribe into submission.

So she leaves. She goes to rogue, queen of the fixers. The whole point is to get a reliable job where she won’t get screwed over. And rogue somehow missed (or didn’t care) that Nash was a wraith and would hate a nomad. And stole Panam’s truck: her life blood. And rogue tells Panam that it’s Panam’s problem… when the whole point of fixers is to make sure neither side is getting set up to get fucked. Rogue really fucked up the whole situation and didn’t care.

So Panam is furious at that. And when she arrives for help, Saul has forbidden them to help.

So she vents at them. Because everyone is bending over the barrel for Saul

NGL the DLC endings changed my mind on some characters, lol. Lot of it sort of felt like bad writing, tbh, which was jarring after all the good in the rest of the DLC.

So last playthrough I basically told her fuck off. I told Saul about the tank heist. He gave me a cool car. She called me to cuss me out which is expected, no big. But then later she called again! Like “you still mad bitch? Go do something useful.” This playthrough I’m not going to sell her out but knowing that she’s not a love interest for my fem V I didnt help her take down Nash. She threw a little childish tantrum. Saul is right about her every step of the way. I’ll help her get her tank, but im not looking for her help to take down ‘saka. Its gonna be just me, Johnny, and Saburo Arasaka’s Katana.

Panam is one of the baddest bitches i ever seen

Persuing a relationship with Judy is actually pretty fucked up. Her ultra traumatized (and admittedly shortsighted) partner literally just killed herself, and all people can think about is jumping in her pants. Fucking gross.

Say what you will about Panams plans, but they work out.

    Also, CAKE.

  7. Phill_Cyberman

Who calls Panam a whiny child?

    Is that from Rogue?

  8. Anakhannawa

We all know she’s topping all of us regardless.

Panam might be irascible, vindictive, and explosive, but whiny is definitely not the word I’d use to describe her.

She got that cake though, so what’s your point?
