    I think they may have lost me. I’ve been diehard for years and years and I’m watching them destroy studios and lives while taking my money.

    I don’t like tribalism. I have put a lot of money into my Xbox library. I vastly prefer the Xbox controller and the Xbox UI. I am thinking about going all in with Sony now and that should scare Microsoft, because I am a rare example of what an Xbox faithful looks like.

    Xbox didn’t let go of anyone. Romero isn’t owned by Microsoft and Microsoft couldn’t let Romero’s employees go if it wanted to.

    it’s such an insane decision that they’ve spend like 80 billion dollars in the last few years buying game studios, then when they actually start to make games they decide they’ve spent too much and cancel all of them. Like seriously what the fuck are they doing? why did they even buy these studios in the first place??

    I imagine we are yet to see the full damage of the layoffs from Xbox. Partner studios like this one wont count towards their own layoffs but it will be impacted by cancellations.

    More whining from PlayStation fanboys pretending this need affects them or that this is somehow devastating news. Can we just get a mega thread or something? 

    All I know is the the actual games they have released have been good and some of the best games this year. It’s a good time to be an Xbox user.
