It’s a bit of a shame handhelds have to be *so* big and *so* much of a commitment to carry on-person compared to the discretely-pocketable GBAs/DSs/3DSs/PSPs/Vitas of yore. *Buuuut*, having Nintendo’s full console-quality games with the Switch/Switch 2 and nearly my entire Steam Library (most notably some phenomenal recent indie games) on my Steam Deck has made forcing the Switch/Switch 2 into my back pocket and/or shouldering my Steam Deck by the hip **so** worth it, because as a delivery courier, they make the waits at merchants/between orders genuinely pleasant.
