Street Fighter 6 is certainly no stranger to collaborations and crossovers, but this one is going to be a good bit different.
The recently teased Street Fighter 6 x aespa collaboration has now received a full reveal trailer with new content coming to the game this week.
This new K-pop event is scheduled to his the game this Friday, July 4.
Obviously, the biggest addition in the collab is a new costume for Juri inspired by the idol group, which was previously leaked in SF6 after the Season 3 update.
There will be more content added to the game as well, however, with the aespa girls being featured in special titles, device wallpapers and photo frames that can be acquired by logging into the game during the event.
Street Fighter 6’s Battle Hub will also be receiving a K-Pop makeover during the duration of the collab.
Perhaps the strangest addition, though, is the digital idol Naevis joining the game as a new real time commentator.
Interestingly, the official description states Juri’s new digs will be released as her Outfit 4, so she may not be getting another costume this year.
This probably means as well that Juri’s aespa fit will be paid content, and they state it’ll only be available for one year in the shop.
Capcom recently revealed the Outfit 4 designs for seven of SF6’s cast members themed around swimwear that will be dropping alongside Sagat on August 5.
But it seems now that Juri will technically be the first to receive her Outfit 4 after fans have been waiting for a year and a half.
