Easter egg aside. There’s lots of fun to be had just playing casually, after learning the side easter eggs like the magma-gat etc.

100% such a fun map. My only wish is that there would be a little message telling you where PAP is similar to Voyage of Dispare

As a Blood of the Dead hater/Mob of the Dead lover, I agree. This is how I feel about Call of the Dead and Tag Der Toten, they are both good. Its how I felt about Five and Classified too until I had to get round 150 and now I’ve had my fix of Classified for life.

They both add so much to each other, especially with lore. The parallel between the mob crew and the primus crew being trapped in their cycles, it was the perfect way to use mob of the dead and I’m grateful it didn’t get remastered in zombie chronicles because the story of blood is fantastic
Said it numerous times but I just love the primus crew exploring this place not knowing wtf it entails, while we the player know how hellacious the place is. Every other intro cinematic they’re doing pretty well, but the blood of the dead intro shows the desperation of trying to survive this pocket dimension.
Also, I like how they use souls with their shield instead of afterlife. It makes Primus feel like they’re scraping whatever they can find, and unlike the mobsters this is their only life. They don’t get a redo, ESPECIALLY with the cycle broken
EE steps could’ve been better I’ll say, wish they were more lore based instead of “ghost with a banjo”. Would’ve liked to have seen an EE step where you briefly travel to the Golden Gate Bridge and have to do something with the souls/bodies of the other mobsters weasel killed, which would lead perfectly into the scene where they grab Brutus and carry him away
I will forever love mob/blood

Unfortunately, I can’t. A someone who loves Mob of the Dead, blood of the dead essentially shits in my hand. I’m not going to get on anyone’s case for enjoying it though.

I see it as dumb if you can’t like one map because you like a different map. There’s few zombies maps I dont like but all from newer games. The older maps were generally perfect mostly especially tranzit, give it the best map of the year award already

I really like Blood and its quest. Honestly, my only issues with it are the “fast travel” especially the gondola. Some of the layout too. Mostly the dock, lmao. And while it’s no dealbreaker it’s kind of weak that the magmagat is kinda just the acidgat but better. Idk what they could have done with it but it could have been different perhaps. The PaP camos are kinda ass too. But that’s all I really have beef with.
And obviously if I like Blood how could I not love Mob. Only issue there for me is no perk variety. Flopper or ideally Mule Kick would have been awesome. So many cool weapons, but I can only carry 2… a shame, imo

I can enjoy any zombie map. I just feel like MoTD was better as a self contained story.
