Keep in mind a lot of people, a lot a lot a lot of people knew Diddy was doing this but protected him. It’s why many celebs refused to associate with him. It was an open secret in Hollywood, the same as Harvey W doing sexual favors for roles.
People mistake things like this with being a coincidence when it’s not, it’s intentionally making subtle nods to it before it’s officially out.
