While on my fifth play through and ready to polish Fingers his face, i yet again have been captured by Judy’s beauty. However, this time i’ve noticed that i have to crack my neck to look at her, looked down and saw that we were on even ground. So, has V always been shorter than Judy (or short in general)? Cuz if yes, as a short king i feel seen

I’ve also noticed V seems to be on the shorter side height wise. Wonder if it has something to do with how the first person camera works.

Pretty much all characters you meet share the same height proportions aside from Jackie, River, and Sasquatch

Correct me if I’m wrong, but male V in canon, is 5’8″, I know lore changes all the time, but last I checked, V is 5’8″. I’d also wager that Judy is around the same height, maybe slightly shorter, but I don’t know for sure. So I think it’s a mix of Cyberpunk lore, and a slightly buggy photo mode that V is supposed to be short.

Well in some missions, certain characters are actually floating a bit. Like the one with Judy and Fingers. If you go into photo mode you’ll noticed that Judy is levitating. She isn’t always that tall.
It happens a few other times with a few other characters

I feel like V’s view point of view is from her neck and not her eyes.

A lot of times when companions are standing still, they will be floating off the floor. You really notice it when Panam towers over Mitch and Saul when they talk to you after they move camp. Only when they start walking again to they come back down to earth and they are the same height as V

My v always seems to look from crouching height I hate being a short queen.

Don’t gotta break six feet tall to be the most dangerous person in Night City.

Not if youre wearing platforms like Judy

technically every character is the same height but the first person camera is placed around v’s neck level instead of head level in order to make the first person animations and view models work correctly

  11. I’ve noticed sometimes walking up to counters that it’s got to be chest high so I think that I maybe like inside the the floor and I’ll look at my feet if you’re on the floor like normal and then when I look up I’m actually taller I’m also noticed people too when you take pictures of them sometimes Lily be floating off the floor

Only time I’ve realized this was standing next to feed but I just a summer he’s a teller dude.

    I cannot accept a V under 5’8😭

There’s only 2 heights in the game for non-unique models. I assume this is for scaling of worn items. Allowing different heights would complicate rendering the models.

I believe V is actually the same height and build as all other characters in the game but the first person camera is fixed to neck-level so that the animations and arm models are more visible and less junk looking. That’s why when you drive in first person you feel like a toddler trying to see over the dash.
