I remember playing this the first time. He tried driving through an off ramp then proceeded to get stuck trying to turn around. I spent 15 minutes watching him drive back and forth into walls because I refused to surrender my progress. 😭
press the confirm button to skip car rides. it will skip if there are no dialogues happening
He’s a damn menace. When we went to talk to his snitch, he ran over a cop pulling out.
That said, can’t you skip the drive after the dialog is done?

i love that. sometimes the game bugs out on driving. had this happen and he (forgot the cop’s name) started driving more radical. it only got worse. sped up, missed exits etc. like he was someone with anger management issues
When River’s driving glitches, it gets hilarious. He will drive around the city _for hours_, just plowing into other cars and mowing down pedestrians. I love it when this happens because you can just sit there and listen to all the wails of his victims as he calmly and quietly terrorizes the city.
He’s legally blind but doesn’t want to admit it

Yes this is an infamous glitch, just reload and hopefully you won’t lose much progress.
Ps: btw, in the next patch, I hope they fix this

In my current playthrough, I got kicked out of the car and on to the roof. Then I got yelled at for walking away. And then I was given the prompt for getting out of the car, and fell directly through the floor.
Every car journey with River is a new adventure.
He stops at every green light when i get into his car. I’ve watched him drive past Dicky Twisters FOUR times, just circling around and around. Another time, Moxes and Claws smashed into him and had a full on shootout, he just sat unbothered.
River always drives lawfully and careful with me😂😭
Yeah, this mission seems to 50/50 in whether his path gets broken and ending up driving in circles, constantly driving up and down the same road. Or doing one loop returning back to the start and hopefully reconnecting to a path.
I just skip the drive, never interested in Rivers story. The weakest out of the four.
Don’t know, always fast forward
He’s the absolute worst driver 😂. During my ride he drove onto the curb and hit some pedestrians, then sped onto the highway and rear-ended a car before fleeing the scene.
As soon as the dialogues stop, skip the ride
