I think it starts roughly in 4 hours. Btw there are stats that show around 50% of games on players Steam accounts never get played. As an indie dev I just want to ask you guys to at least try for 10 minutes whatever games you are getting. We make games to be played. Getting some money is nice bonus but I would like to know that whoever has bought a game has at least given it some time and attention due to the effort that goes into making one. Just a small request to consider : )

I have made a Google doc of 3 carts in order of priority in case I can’t allocate a bunch of money, the priority games are cyberpunk, elden ring, and ff7 remake intergrade, I’ve played them all I just recently got a gpu that’s actually better than my ps5 so I want them all again for modding

One does not plan to get any games during the summer sale. The games are acquired purely on impulse, only to sit in the backlog to be forgotten about after the initial dopamine hit of the purchase wears off. Only played years later when casting about for an experience different from the normal rotation of the same stable of familiar games.
Amazon does this all the time, if you’re not tracking the price you get caught out

Im really hoping for a good discount on helldivers 2 and space marine 2. I want to find a really fun racing game that has really good car custom depths and enjoyable gameplay. Not sure where to start but really just want one when i get need for speed 😏

I might get the remastered mass effect trilogy. 3 games for $6 seems like a pretty good deal even if they are 17 years old.

Pro tip, if you own the first game in a seires, and the second is bundled on sale. Buying the bundle is cheaper than buying the standalone game!
If Doom the Dark Ages goes on sale, I’m snapping that up. Eternal went on sale in its first year and I’m hoping history repeats.

My personal rule is not to buy anything that isn’t on sale for single digits. Makes the summer sale a lot easier to get through.
