This isn’t dystopian. This is what modern cities should look like. So many cities now have major housing shortages or overly expansive and spread out suburban areas leading to overuse of personal vehicles and traffic jams.

I like it. High population density lets you make walking a bigger part of your life. No need to get in your car to go get milk or buy a coffee. More friends nearby. Big plazas for kids to run around in and not get run over by cars. Also, a much more environmentally friendly way to live because you rely less on automobiles.

Dystopian is Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles because we don’t build housing up like this and don’t offer enough rental assistance or public housing for those struggling.

I spent the majority of this past month homeless and on the streets… i’ll take this ANY day of the week if no one ever has to experience that again.
