Part time Rippadoc here. Lemme check you out, a free diagnostic! Altruism still exists, eh choom? Okee, let’s see here. Looks like your systems are definitely running overtime, it’s a surprise you haven’t short-circced yet. Have you been experiencing any of these symptoms? Hallucinations, voices, violent urges, flashbacks, memories that don’t seem your own, or a general increase in risky behaviors lately? If you’re answerin’ yes to three or more, you may be at an increased risk of experiencing onset cyberpsychosis. I’d advise you to check into the nearest clinic and get downgraded some.

cant you actually go semi-cyberpsycho if you kill a bunch of people? i seem to remember the screen turning yellow and my v laughing a lot

You know, I’m currently ghosting Hanako, but I still have no idea how this bar works outside of it looking bad if it’s red and that you can somehow “exceed your cyberware” with a certain perks. I’ve just avoided getting into the red this whole time.

(If anyone wants to explain, I wouldn’t be mad about it, lol)

I read somewhere that V cannot go into cyberpsychosis because of the biochip. Like how two people will plug into a system to help prevent metal overload, having Johnny is kinda like the same thing…but I don’t know if this was canon or a theory

I’m almost 5++ on all levels, and im not even half full on the bar… am I missing something?? How the hell are you guys filling either bar up for that matter, im not half full on the left bar, and maybe half full on the armor bar… how do I even get better?

You do not. And by that I mean there is an actual cyberphsycosis effect in the game for v (yes you read it right). It happens when you reach at 500 cyberware or more. Of course it requires cheats or mods to reach that cyberware level. But there actually is an effect. Screen will start to glitch, you’ll hear a tickking sound and those aren’t from mods. Your speed, damage etc will increase when you’re on a killing spree (all in game effects and not modded). If you get high wanted levels V will also start to become harder to control actually…
PS: I am not talking about fury here.

I compare a full net runner build V to MaxTac, always on the verge of cyber psychosis. 😂

Is it even possible to max Cyberware capacity without mods?

Hope the next Cyberpunk you can actually get effected and maybe one of the endings has you become a cyber psycho or something

Does difficulty change the point cost of cyberware? Just finished my first run as a netrunner, on the lowest difficulty. Most everything I have is 5++ and I’m not close to the limit
