With zweih the calling will be much easier, donk was the only true opener who could shoot back, now zweih can do it at a decent level on T side he was the 2nd entry
There’s no one better IGL replace him anyway

Honestly I was hoping that they would remove russian tabsen before magixx, because his calls are very mediocre and as individual he sucks

Then I have no idea what the second replacement is. He didn’t deny the Zweih rumours, so it’s a safe bet -magixx -zweih is pretty much set (barring competition). Kicking zont1x is IMO only justified if they get, like, HeavyGod (and I have a feeling he’s way too useful of a piece in the G2 rebuild to let go easily), and donk and sh1ro are obviously safe.

nor are they a midround heavy team so the igl doesn’t matter all that much, relatively

I wonder what Chopper would look like without his beard. He has the best beard in tier 1 CS but maybe it is debuffing his calling abilities.
Karrigan, Kyxsan, Brollan, Siuhy, and so many more igls are clean shaven, maybe it is required to be good at calling?

I feel like chopper is the Russian apEX,
when apEX first started igl, he will make wild decisions lead to round lost, and if wasn’t ZywOo he won’t have that many years to sharpen the igl skill, any normal team without ZywOo/donk/s1mple level of player they don’t have the luxury to wait for an igl to grow, one year maybe two they will start to look for new igls, but Vitality/ZywOo stick with apEX even after going international,
Idk which is better for donk/spirit, to get a new igl or wait(and hope) for chopper to become apEX

I feel like zont1x has been performing somewhat well based on the few matches I’ve watched but not sure how good he’s been long term or how good his calling is mid round. Will be interesting to see how they intend to solve the issues in the team.

He’s the IGL, of course his position on the roster is safe. Performance wise so is Donk and Shiro.

Probably they will kick both zont1x and magixx and add Zweih + one more rifler/defensive player

Expected. Chopper hally combo was working before top3 made firepower upgrades this year. There is no obvious upgrade for them so no point risking changing the most important parts of the team.

Chopper is a tactical genius. He is best known for his signature tactic “Donk and Shiro go kill 5”. He also has a second little known tactic of “Donk and Shiro are dead? Lets save”. What an absolute legend. Top 3 IGL for sure.

Hope he steps up with his calling then. And another thing he doesn’t seem like a leader outside the team. And with Vitality being this good, I think, a lot of it is due to apex being a true captain. With chopper being older than his teammates would be great to see more of that from him but I guess you can’t change personality.

Spirit basically didn’t have T sides in mouz game. From watching their latest vlog the reason seems to be that there was no cohesion mid rounds, people didn’t comm to organize 3v3s and such. You could say the same from just watching the game. And I don’t know how it’s not a chopper problem. You’re IGL, call mid round, organize your players. Maybe it’s a structural issue but it’s weird since this lineup been together so long as well as chopper IGLing. And if the players don’t trust his calling or he himself is not confident, then it’s such a big issue that better fraggers won’t help that much. Especially because they’ll get less experienced players (if not Perfecto) who need more guidance.
