All you need is 32gb and that’s enough to browse comfortably.

I think my friend who has 8gb on their laptop complains about it being slow, but refuses to accept my extra 8gb ram stick anyway. Maybe too reluctant to open the laptop themselves (tries their best to not let me open it instead). Considering it’s necessary to have decent amount of ram for our assignment, hesitation is not helping

I have 32gb and am perfectly fine with that.

I have 96gb and that’s enough
Positive-Road3903
habits have changed since the invention of tabbed browsing. Its not unusual to basically hoard tabs till it crashes.
32GB may or may not be enough depending on usage patterns…also if you dont max out your RAM at first build, down the road upgrades you have to discard or sell your current kit anyways

That’s y u have a 2nd PC for ur 2nd monitor for web browsing, watching shows when grinding levels, downloading from torrent, buying stuff from Ebay, checking out hints and cheats for the game u are playing now…..all.without affecting the main PC. Also that stupid small screen for Aida64…just use a stream deck and display your stats there….the dual screen always give some small issues either running Aida64 on small screen or 2nd monitor.

512mb ram is 100% usable in 2025, given the correct software and no new games.

have a 16gb ddr4 and a 32 ddr5 rig (12/16 vram) never really notice obiviously the 5070 ti rig is faster though
TheRealTechGandalf
32GB DDR5 here. I sometimes launch two instances of a game at the same time and the only reason I notice it struggling is the GPU. Both COU and RAM are doing fine.

I’m starting to find that 32gb might not be enough for me soon. I use Atlas OS so the OS is trimmed down. Playing Oblivion Remastered and Stalker 2, I’ll be pushing up to 28gb utilized. Maybe that’s just an Unreal Engine 5 optimization issue. I know Stalker 2 has areas that’ll give memory leaks.

128 gb ram and calls others peasants :)))

It doesn’t matter how much ram i have, closing the browser before gaming is a habit at this point, my old PC scarred me.

In my desktop I have 32 GB and I never had any issues, but 16GB is low right now
Beneficial-News-2232
32GB, which is enough for me for everything, but I turn off the browser, like when I play a game – I’m watching the game, why do I need a browser that I can turn on in a couple of seconds? this is called rationality
