I still haven’t met anyone IRL that remembers this existing in the 90’s

I drank these growing up! I don’t remember if they were any good I just remember having them. Same thing with the not Kool aid brand juice bottles that had faces with different personalities on them.

I remember. Born in ‘85. Loved when I would see these in the store but could hardly get my mom to buy them for me. Maybe once or twice. Pretty sure I had the Mario and maybe the Peach.

On another note, Shasta’s black cherry soda was always really good.

sorry friend, you fell into a different universe again. if you can tell us if, “Berenstain Bears” is correct or not than maybe we can help you.

I remember popping princess toadstool cherry…..soda back in the day.

    I’m sorry.

They were only available regionally. I’ve met two friends in Denver who brought them up to me.

Midwest here. Visited a classmate’s house once, for a birthday. They had these and it’s the only thing I remember about that day. They were great.

Born in 1990 here, never seen those. I’m in Canada

  8. Don’t remember that, but know if I asked what the answer should have been anyway

I remember them but never had one, my parents would never buy them for me.

Oh yes. They were near where you could get the HI-C with the slimer on them. Same aisle as the squeeze-its and stuff.

It was good stuff and we could occasionally have it as a special treat.

I think it was only out for a few years though, and I may be mistaken.

I remember these from when I was like 5 or 6 years old. They weren’t a long lasting thing, but I distinctly remember looking in the can and seeing nothing and being extremely disapointed. There was no actual prizes iirc. The Luigi one was the best one of the bunch, but they were not good.

I remember these from when I was really young. My favorite was the Luigi Berry.

Wasted opportunity making the Princess’ flavor cherry instead of peach, given the name change that would come not long after.

Finally, definitive proof that my parents didn’t love me. I never even knew these existed.

There was a year or two year span in the early 90s that these were at every birthday party, and occasionally the post game drink after a little league game if the parents in charge that week were cool.

  16. I remember something similar, but I thought Mario was cola-flavored, Peach was creme soda, and either Luigi or Yoshi was lemon-lime.

I remember seeing them  advetised in the Sunday coupons every weekend as a kid, but never actually saw them on shelves.

Had them for my 5 grade birthday. We also had a water balloon fight and went swimming that day. Time really does fly by…

When I was a kid my family took a trip to NYC. I don’t remember the exact events but we ended up in a spot where we weren’t supposed to be. It was dark. And a man approached us, he seemed friendly, at least appeared to be at the time. And then he produced a plastic bag, like a grocery store bag, and cracked open a couple of the Luigi cans. He poured them into the plastic bag and drank from the bag itself. My parents got us out of there pretty quickly after that.

  20. I think I was able to get my parents to buy these for me a grand total of 1 time back in the day.

I remember the Luigi Berry one at my grandma’s house in the 90s. I don’t remember if I drank it, but I know my grandma kept it as a collectable.

Omggggg my brain just whooshed like in Ratatouille.

  23. CheapEstimate357

Anyone that drank them forgot due to the mind erasing chemicals that were being tested in those cans!

  24. Trashboat77

I bought them all the time as a kid. Local Big Lots used to carry them cheap.
