I recently started getting 5 – 10 second load times at the start of videos, doesnt phase me i am in australia there is still alot of areas with shit internet here i only recently was able to get faster than adsl so it just feels like loading/buffering that i always had.

Been getting the same artificial delay, Ublock Origin + Firefox, but just the other day a friend told me Brave didn’t have that problem, and when I tried Brave, that artificial delay was just *gone*.
Still not so sure about Brave to be honest, something about it doesn’t sit right with me, but I have no idea what. Anyone else feel this seemingly unreasonable distrust towards Brave?

Crazy how YouTube manage to do constantly worse. It was such a good service before, then it started to go against its users instead of improve. I imagine them always doing meetings in order to think what will be the next move to piss off users even more.

for a freaken 10 min video.
so once time i got 4 ads every 2 mins. oh and last one was a 2 hour long rando video.

You complain about YouTube ads on Reddit. I use Brave browser and so I’ve forgotten that YouTube ads exist. We are not the same.

Really funny that YouTube thinks a 15 second black screen is somehow going to discourage me.
I would just mute/browse phone if I was completely focusing on whats on screen, but most of the time youtube is Just Background Noise while I grind in my games, so the black screen isn’t a factor.

I happened to watch a 15 min video on my phone yesterday and got like 6 ads at least it was fucking ridiculous. Maybe the creator had something to do with it but still it’s so much worse than I remember :/ not gonna be doing that again
