Most important feature to me is the 10 key. I do alot of calculations so they def help.

Definitely build quality and general durability. I game a lot on PC and it can damage some keys really quickly.
I like keyboards that have both bluetooth and 2.4GHz dongle connectivity. Makes it easier use on a secondary machine or a tablet if needed.

A volume knob is very useful

The most important feature is keyboard’s responsiveness.
Incognito42O69
The most important feature is that it’s gonna like sick for my first build, well that, and… GIMME THAT THOCK!!!
VulcariaTors
Travel from key to key
ApathyMoose
The most important feature to me would be the switch quality and the build quality.
I have recently started looking at and purchasing RedDragon products, as well as recommending them. I look be toward to replacing my Logitech keyboard with a nice RedDragon one. High quality and customizable with beautiful replacement key caps that RedDragon also makes. Highly recommend
Pegisis02
A 10 key and all the extra function keys like volume, play/pause, etc.

Fastest response available, followed by a nice sound

Build quality and nice feeling switches since that’s what you touch the most…
Since I have a redragon keyboard with no volume knob a keyboard with FN lock to me is important too (this one doesn’t 😭)
AlterEffect
Numpad!
63volts
For keyboards in general I think it’s important with sturdy keys that have a very smooth travel, no perceivable lateral play and a high quality standard in tolerances! Essentially the mechanical feel and the sound!
No_Succotash6445
Thock and good aesthetics
SpecialistBanger
Good luck everyone! If it’s wireless I’m looking for solid connectivity and if it’s wired I’m wanting comfortable style with accurate push
plic70
For me it’s the sound. I like a good client clackety sound on solid keys that don’t mush.
CrustyCake2344
Responsiveness, rbg, and small. Got a reddragon fizz to see if i like that small of a keyboard. Was surprised by the way it feels and types, but quickly realized I missed some of the keys being easier access then a function button. Good luck everyone!
No_Reaction8611
The most important feature is responsiveness. My keyboard’s space bar has gotten me killed in game a few times. It clicks but its delayed by half a second. Also its stuck on french for some reason so my question marks dont look right.
X-olotl
Noice! Cool cccoo cool cool coo
Konpoolu
The build quality of the keyboard. I use my keyboard for a majority of the things that I do, and I don’t want them to break.
rumblpak
Number 1 feature is switch quality.
NotTodayGlowies
Thonk! It needs the perfect thonky sound.

A nice clicky feel to the keys are key to a great keyboard!

What do I look for in a keyboard? Honestly haven’t ever owned one yet as I’m mid way through building my first PC, but I want a keyboard that’s got the backing if a reputable company (check) and one that doesn’t just look like a plain Jane one. Something that’s a statement piece and matches my esthetic.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for the giveaway

I love silent keyboards. Whether it is the middle of the night or workplace. I hate to be the obnoxious person clickclacking away at 100 WPS. I can appreciate it if I could somehow isolate those sounds into my headphones.
VeryTallAndWealthy
The most important feature in a keyboard is the Thock Coefficient, as defined by the integral of keycap resonance over actuation pressure.
Tambi_B2
I like to have 10 key because I use it for non-gaming stuff too.
Zealousideal_Lie9315
Build quality and features for me
PhilosopherCat7567
I really need a quiet but clunky keyboard. I really can’t stand the clicky loud switches and when you can’t feel the press it’s just weird.
RandoDando10
The overall feel of a keyboard is always priority, eg the build quality, switches, and sound. No one likes a rattly space bar that’ll wake up the neighbours even lmao.
Extra features like a customisable display are always a fun bonus too, quick access to info like your PC temps without having to toggle on a performance overlay

The keys , the keys are the most important part of a keyboard .
